I have ordered a new series #1 chip for the orange cartridge. It was not recognized as did the previous chip. Do I need to order a series #2 chip and return the other to InjetMall?
Also, once the green and orange have been repalced with correct inks, what program do i use to print with Piezo Pro inks?
Joe Fammartino
Thank you. I just ordered series#2
Joe
Joe,
I do not see any orders in your account for P6000 products.
Is this printer new to you or did you buy it used? If new - very unusual for a dud chip in this product line.
If it is used, do you precisely know its 3rd party chip series history?
Jon
It was purchased new by me when the green and orange chips weren’t available. I have purchased the Piezo Pro inks a long time ago. I recently purchased the remaining piezo pro inks for orange and green with the canisters and chips. The orange chip doesn’t work, so I ordered a new one series #1, which likewise didn’t work. So I want to return it, and I already ordered series#2 chip.
Thank you,
Joe Fammartino
Jon, you are correct! I do have a P 7000 printer that I mistakenly labeled P6000. I’ll need to return the chip and please cancel my order for an orange chip series #2 that I just placed. I’ll need an orange series #1 for the P7000!
Sorry, it’s the traumatic brain injury still haunting me after 5 years!
Regards,
Joe Fammartino
Joe,
I think possibly you have a 7900 as the only P7000 carts we have sold you were the Orange and Green PiezoFlush carts in Nov last year. So a bit of a mystery. And we have only sold you Piezography inks and carts for a 7900/9900 not a P7000.
In meantime, I put your #2 Orange on hold.
regards,
Jon
Jon, I have Piezo Pro inks for the P7000 since last year. Im not using the 7900 since then. There must be a mistake in the orders on your end?
Joe
Your Orange #2 should arrive Friday.
Let us know how it goes.
Kind regards,
Jon
I haven’t recieved the orange for P7000 chip. I did receive another orange ser1 foor the P6000. I now have two incorrect chips and I do need the orange P7000 chip and return the others to you.
Thanks,
Joe
Hi James,
You ordered an Orange #1 chip on November 24, 2023 along with a PiezoFlush bottle and cartridge for your P7000 printer. Did you use this PiezoFlush to do any printer operations?
On April 12, 2024 you ordered by itself a second Orange #1 chip.
Did you use this chip to do any printer operations?
On April 19 you were sent an Orange #2 which was delivered In/At Mailbox on April 25, 2024, 11:10 am.
Kindest regards,
Jon
Jon,
Did you receive the photos of the packing slips and the chip packaging that I sent you to qualify my requests?
If so, can this be resolved soon? I don’t have any orange chip Ser1 for the P7000. I would like to receive this. Perhaps its best to send an orange ser 2 for the P7000. Since the presumed chip that I received with the initial order was a ser#1.
Thank you again for your kindness.
Joe Fammartino
Yes I did. Did you see my questions to you above your reply? They are only related to the first two #1 Orange chips you ordered. Not the third that was mistakenly sent to you.
Could you please answer them… here they are again…

Jon,
Neither chip was used to flush the cartridge. It was not recognized by the P7000 printer.
Joe
ok thanks - sending out a replacement for the series 2
BUT a little concerning that your printer can NOT recognize a series 1 even its replacements… which indicates it has used a series 1 before… you say it has never been used with 3rd party chips… though… if the #2 that I send you does not work you will not be able to use this printer with 3rd party in the Orange position.
kindest regards,
Jon
I have received orange chip series 2 for the P7000. This also is rejected by the printer. I don’t know what to do. I guess I need to try the series 3 chip for orange cartridge. Is this correct, or do you have some other idea?
Thank you
Joe Fammartino
Hi Joe,
There is no other orange series chips available. There is an obvious hardware issue with the printer in that position that it can not be used with 3rd party chips.
Unfortunately there are no more orange series available worldwide other than #1 and #2. The chip factory came to an agreement with Epson not to compete and they did not produce any further Orange chip series.
I can’t tell you what the problem with your printer is as I don’t know. But I do know I do not have a solution for you that involves these chips.
There is a way to convert it from a USA printer to a China region printer and then it can use a chip resetter but it’s expensive and would require you to disassemble yours remove the USA main board and install a China region main board. About $1,800.
Easy solution is use Epson orange cartridge in that position.
That’s interesting. Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, when I reinserted the Epson orange cartridge, it was rejected as well. Perhaps I should purchase a new Epson orange cartridge for the P7000 and try that! I don’t want to convert the board as an alternative.
What do you think about that solution?
Regards,
Joe
If you’re having trouble even reading an EPSON cartridge then the hardware malfunction is probably the chip reader in the printer. A new Epson cart if it fails to be read will confirm the need for a repair.
