Can I use PiezoFlush instead of Matte Black for digital negatives?

Since matte black ink is not used for making digital negatives (which is all I do), I assume it would be safe to fill the matte black cart with PiezoFlush. This would avoid matte black ink being wasted by head cleanings. Good idea or bad idea?
