Can GO be applied with a airbrush?

Might be a simple question, but then only needs a simple answer. I’m new to Piezography. Using 7900 with with ConeColor Pro inks. QUESTION: Rather than deal with known 7900 issues applying GO overspray, or adding yet another printer to my array, why can’t GO be applied simply with an airbrush? What issues will arise?

Go could probably very well be applied with an airbrush, however, this may use too much of it. It’s pricey stuff.

If going the HVLP route, I suggest Breathing Color art lacquer. http://www.breathingcolor.com/blog/how-to-use-hvlp-spray-gun/
