Brand new 3880 Issue

I have a brand new out of the box Epson 3880, and I have encountered an issue with ink (black) smudging the edge of a print.

This doesen’t happen all the time, but is happening more than a few times out of 10 prints.

Cleaning seems to have no bearing on this event.

I am using Inkjet Mall ink and Cartridges. I can’t see how that is an issue here though.

I sometimes have this happen. If the paper is at all curled, set your platen gap to Wide and that should solve the problem. Right>Right>Right>Down>Enter
