Auto nozzle check / clean on pk/mk ink switch

My 9900 is a dedicated Piezography printer precisely because it has two dead channels. I have disabled auto nozzle check, and have verified that the setting stuck.

It is still doing some auto cleaning, I believe immediately after initial fill and definitely now after switching from MK to PK. There is of course no way that this check is going to succeed, given two permanently dead channels. Is there a secret handshake to disable at least the auto clean after PK/MK switch?

I think if you boot into maintenance mode and do a black ink switch it will not auto clean. This bit of knowledge I had to mine in the back catacomb of my frontal lobe though so it might not be accurate. Try it.

I’ll try it. Can’t hurt to try.
