Assuming the corresponding OEM chip is on the IJM carts, are the IJM carts for different colors interchangeable on the Epson 3800?

I would like to use an IJM MK cartridge in the PK slot. The reason is that I have two IJM MK carts, but no IJM PK cart. Also, I have the Epson OEM PK cartridge with the chip that I could transfer to the MK cart if this setup works.

You need a PK OEM chip and PK control chip. The MK OEM chip will not work.
