Any Australian users of Cone inks with P800

Wondering if anyone from Australia or perhaps NZ has had experience using Cone inks with an Epson P800. I have a 3880 and am buying a 2nd hand P800 that’s only had small use. I’d like to be a belt o continue using Cone Inks. I’ve read the instructions in here for the 2 options. I asked Jon Cone whether either would work in Australia and he wasn’t sure so suggested I try the chip less option first.
I’d love to hear from anyone else over here who is using Cone inks with a P800.
