What is an affordable monitor that will give me accurate color and black and white prints ? I would use it with a colormunki photo that I use to calibrate my printer.

NEC spectraview is good, look for refurbished. I picked up a floor model from the B&H used department for about $800 NEC PA271Q. Otherwise BenQ SW270C is decent and about $800 new but I hear there is some variability in quality. If you get a good one they’re great, but if not…
