It’s probably a short related to the cable connecting to the print-head being jostled and miss-aligned by head-strikes or something else that could do that.

This came up during a nozzle check. I did a black ink swap on the control panel that didn’t seem to work. I understand this is printhead related but maybe just a short? I’ve unplugged, swapped carts, you name it. I fee comfortable getting the screwdriver out if that’s what it takes and am open to suggestions.

So, removing the head and reseating cables might fix it?
