7890-filling carts

Hi all
I’ve got an 7890 with cone ink + 350 re fill-able carts, but I seem to be having a problem with the refilling… I’m using the funnel and pouring slowly but the ink bubbles over where the funnel goes into the cart. what a mess when that happens. I’m doing something wrong, any suggestions ?

This can be difficult!

I suggest keeping the tip just out, keep the funnel at a slight angle. Air needs to be able to escape the same hole without bubbling.

Pour slow.

ps: Sometimes I connect a thin tube (like IV bag tube) to the bottom of the funnel and drop this into the cartridge. That can help.
