3880 vs 4880 for printing, disregarding paper handling options

Greetings from Knightdale, NC. This is a quick query I could not find in the community (did see the 3880 vs 4900) thread. Is one of these printers superior to the other for Piezography? Any insight along these lines would be appreciated. Once again paper options are not key to this discussion.

Thank you very much,
Lee K.

3880 by far. The 4900 has problems as a model and has never been dependable no matter the ink.

Best regards,

Walker

Thanks Walker, is the 4900 essentially the same printer as the 4880?
Did you know where you one gets virgin wool?
Thanks
Lee

The 4900 is a completely different printer than the 4880. The 4880s are great. Not so the 4900.

Best,

Walker
