3880 banded gloss optimizer and bizarre nozzle check

From QTR, prints are fine.
Second pass for GO coats the print but also gray ink bands.
If you run a nozzle check the cyan output is, well, odd.
Not clogged but excess information…

This is very weird. I suggest you update the firmware and test again.

It has worked for years…
All of a sudden this is what I’m getting…

It really looks like some sort of NVRAM or Firmware corruption to me. Something possibly in the head control board even that is determining voltage to the head.
