1400 start up


installed inks as described in instructions for EP 1400, can’t get a good nozzle check as I did with colour ink before conversion, have now used a full set of ink on cleaning with no improvement, got some bars on some inks but 1 not working at all.
Have ordered a new set of carts, flush and chip setter, will try again. any ideas???

Please check to make sure the air vent holes are open (plugs removed) for proper ink flow.
Did you tap the carts exit valve down a few times before installing into your printer?
How long did you wait to begin printing after installing the carts? (did you let the printer/carts sit for a few minutes?)
What inks were in this printer prior to the refill carts?
Did you print a good nozzle check with the previous set of carts/inks before installing the refill carts?
