Ultra HD Matte conversion

Want to replace K7 Neutral with Ultra HD Matte in a 3880. I’ll use a new cartridge, but do I need to flush the line (using the QTR method) first, or can I eliminate this step given that the HD is a darker black than the Neutral?

No need to flush the line. but if you want to see the HD soon do it.
