I’m slowly diving into un-replied posts that were buried by our previous forum software a few years back.

Monitor shopping can be hard. Basically the difference in price for these monitors reflects the difference in bit-depth. A monitor that has 14bit LUTs (1+billion colors) will always be about twice the cost of a monitor with 8bit LUTS (16 million colors). For photographers (especially bw photographers), the 14bit luts actually make a noticeable difference.

I checked the prices on refurbished 27" PA monitors a few times over the past 6 months and found a new monitor from B&H was less than a refurbished model. THAT is no longer true. The prices of refurbished PA monitors are ridiculous…
