Can Piezography be done on both Epson and Canon printers?

Please excuse the newbie question!

Having just bought a P-600, I will soon go to work trying to unclog my R2880 with the intention of converting it to Piezography. I have a friend here who is a Canon fan who also bought one of their new printers and now has an interest in converting his old Canon photo printer (model?) to Piezography.

I wonder if it possible to use the same inks on both an Epson and a Canon printer for this purpose. Curves? Anything else?

Canon (thermal) heads will not work with Epson-compatible (piezo) ink due to the copolymer encapsulation inside of the ink we make.

Sorry to disappoint,
best,
Walker
